I am an ordinary man
I am an ordinary man to dream
Very humble and down to earth to touch even an arm
Not at all in any position to cause harm
Keep well with the distance and feel warm
When I look at the present scenario
It makes me to think old time radio
When we used to listen to the news
But had no time to offer views
But we were close enough to feel
Our heart felt with grief still
We mourned the death of war affected
Sent the relief material and positively acted
African draught made us to feel sore
The sufferings were more and more
We were human first and then with cast and color
Still we longed and mutually agreed for
War did not bring any relief
On the contrary it strengthened our belief
That hate may bring only hate
Then how would we blame our fate?
Today everything has changed
World has come near but openly dragged
In controversies and in open defiance
Of world order and neglect self reliance
I understand all but fall short
Of their strategies and false report
I wonder what man can really offer
If asked to suggest with opinion to differ
Nothing shall materialize
No one may feel to oblige
Yet it may matter in long run
When people are dragged out with gun
Yes we may not speak in open
But certainly may prefer to retaliate even
Then mighty dictator also may flee
As our sentiments may be strong and free
