Working For A Mindful Goal (Old Familiar Feelings)
Working without purpose
working without mindful goal
working meager wages to support mere living
such a nerve irking
joint aching
back breaking toll
The debilitating dependency
humble humiliation
degrading merciless air
the canyon of human service divide
point counter point
condescending patrons
patronizing customers
Tired of being another standing line
time clock pugilist forced to labor
in an unforgiving ring
making bare knuckle wages
every day receiving the same
mind numbing menial jabs.
Tiresome day to day footwork
dancing paycheck to paycheck
financial bob and weave
every penny squeezed for your check
every grain of salt sifted from the sweat
ring side buckets overflown with spit and tears
blood sopped rags emptied and rung hourly
by shot calling management promoters
Ticket line patrons – blood thirsty some
others still remain sympathetic
remembering once having to stand and serve
on the other side.
I wish to stay home
farm cook my own food
cut my own hair
ride a bike everywhere needed to go
by my clothes online
avoid standing in any type of consumer line
I want to go on afternoon walks
sleep in
read the news
take the proper time out of my day to stay properly informed
no microwavable prepackaged propaganda for me
I want to take my own surveys talking to bench sitting strangers
find out about life from the passersby.
Boycott the human service industry altogehter
Let robots have those shitty inhumane jobs!
Give Art Science pathways to spiritual answers
Give our Jobs our Lives some real meaning
I want to enjoy the pure unadulterated Karuna
perfected
in the full body bliss of human interaction!
