Irrational Commitment
You came along during the cold night,
You whispered words in my ears,
I fell for you all of a sudden,
I didnt even question who you were,
Perhaps it is one of those charms,
I saw a future in your eyes,
Yet your eyes I never saw in history,
You were a tale of love at first sight,
Holding me like im your fisrt love,
Where was the agency I had,
To make decisions without thinking,
Like an empty vessel was my head,
My mind in a state of great desparado,
The suspension of my mental faculty,
Embraced in a moment of glee,
Remembering none but seeing you,
Forgeting all but memorising you,
The kiss you gave me on the neck,
Moving across every vein of mine,
I lost myself in the period of ecstacy,
I found you in the moment of reality,
Without doubt but with great precision,
I chose you and it became you,
I saw a wife that day,
I saw a mother that day,
Even our children that day,
Stupid I thought I had vision,
Poor me it was fantasy,
Or maybe drugged by her charm,
Maybe a spell she casted upon me,
To be in love with a stranger,
So was the affair so strange,
You took the sunshine away from me,
Thick darkness you brought upon me,
What did I find in you,
Now I regret knowing,
Loving you
And having you,
