Sonnet-None Can Dupe The Lord
All things for sale are well-displayed to catch,
The eye of the prospective customer;
The ways in which these are done do matter;
Be it jewellery, garments or wrist-watch.
Jewels are kept in dazzling lights galore;
Raiments are draped on life-sized dolls that speak;
The packaging looks richer all the more;
Tho' quality suffers, selling isn't weak.
But this isn't true for soul of man, beware!
God knows our hearts and minds till death from birth;
He prefers earthenware to silverware!
The real state of soul decides our Mirth.
Let soul be pure or else God won't purchase;
He's the toughest customer, with kind face!
