The Blues And Me
As I sit here
with my guitar
I play the blues
of a time gone by
A time when you
played from the heart
and you'd sing
what was on your mind
You'd play the blues
till your fingers
would bleed
You'd sing and sing
until you couldn't
stay in key
Then you'd sit in bliss
and listen to BB King
Those good old days
of the blues and the King
The days I want to see again
