Disgust
Somewhere, somehow I stumbled upon
Faking a smile, “hatred” stood desperate.
Neither a friend nor a well wisher
Either an ovation or a peaceful shelter
With ominous plans “hate” opts to target
Who’s there to share its evil-fed thought?
Bereft of love, midst a mirage of oasis
Who can comfort those who are at sea
Opulence tempts, but solitude shatters
In quest of a companion, often it bothers.
As if to shower fake affection it pretends
Who’s there to trust its ominous annals
The wicked repute so easily cannot erase
Most likely it sticks till the life’s last phase.
From a distant view, life reflects wonderful
It’s a spider’s web, luring by desire-thrills
Behind the veil of illusions and disillusions
One can only seek for past revivifications.
While life disappear into the time’s spindle
The “Hatred” instinct tries to see its own finale.
