The pain that was my life
Your pictures: saddens my soul
Your name: bleeds my ears
Your voice: crumbles my heart
The loss of you
took every dropp of life from my soul
I'm not who I claim to be
It's all a lie
A lie I've learned to live
The loss of you
is so much worse than any pain
Yet, pain is numb in my body now
I used to seek the ones that caused me pain
Only to see if I could handle more
I've screamed and fought others
Then I tried talking myself into believing
I'm no longer here.
Now, I fear that pain has corrupted thy soul.
