Seeing Clearly
Daniel has a pair of toy binoculars
he carries them wherever he goes
no matter which end he looks through
they posses magic and tell him
whatever he needs to know.
At each few yards or junction of events
he scans 360 degrees and proclaims
with utmost certainty
'This way'.
I want his binoculars but he won't let them go
as if he knows they can only work their magic
with the purity of his two year old eyes.
