Olden Days
Reminiscing on wanting the ice cream truck to stop near my house
Watching Cinderella and saying thats one friendly mouse
Playing outside for hours and never wanting it to end
Drawing with chalk was the newfound trend
Dreading taking a bath or cleaning up at all
Thinking every adult is extremely tall
Hanging with your parents everyday
Sharing your dolls so all your friends could play
Scraping your knees and thinking life can't get any worse
Loving the idea of eventually having a purse
Smiling over the stupidest things
Thinking you could fly if you just had wings
I'm missing those days as I sit here today
Saying when did life decide to turn out this way?
