Hearts Passive
Every step that takes me closer to you
I think about it for an hour or two
Every sound from my lips
I plan out for minutes
Every breath that I take
I try not to make a mistake
So I cannot lie
Because you’re always on my mind
I cannot breath when I think anymore
Because your image lies there stored
I cannot move
When I’m close to you
I wish I could blink and stare away
But my eyes are trapped upon you every single day
Crying when you are depressed
Makes me really stressed
I try and try to make the pain go away
But the thought will always stay
Even though I know we can never be
I will always keep on hoping
That one-day we will be more than friends
But that is only how a fairy tale ends
My life is not like a Cinderella book
It is filled with hatred and dark nooks
Spikes of metal are where my heart lays upon now
So you can just rip it off its tight rusty blade
And tear it to pieces
I don’t need it
Cause all it does is remind me of you
So now I can be lost in my own world without the thought passing through
