Fisher Woman
Laid in a basket,
She carried the fish,
For selling fom door to door,
Making a few bucks
A day, she toiled
Walked a long way
And back home,
To her children and drunken
Husband, who beat her up
And took all the money
she earned the full day,
She lived with money
Given outside to another
Woman, sent her children
To school for a little
Studies, to become
Full human beings,
Be away from her harassing
Husband, who worked
And drank all day long,
She trode on taking
All the abuses, smell of fish,
To make a living going
For herself and children.
