After The Deathbed
Dead asleep, your journey begins,
Making fate so wretched and cruel
For taking you away so soon.
Searching for your love and fragrance
In this world filled with grief and hatred,
Never appeared to be so simple,
Making missing you ever so painful.
Making my heart croon an elegy,
Wishing to remove the grief I carry.
Oh if only you were right here beside me
Regret moans inside of me,
For all the things I hurt you by
I still progress with thoughts of you,
That just never seems to leave.
Hard to forget all the thoughts we share
Since my life has not reached its closing stages.
I’ll have to carry through this wicked life
Which is devoid of the love we shared.
Moreover, I accept what lifetime offers,
As your wooden box passes
Through the stairway of heaven
Making goodbye seem like the hardest words.
