Happy Pill
There was a 'happy pill' it laughed all day
But when I went to swallow it
The laughter went away
Not even a chuckle or a giggle
Or a tiny squeak
But from the depths out of the jar
I heard a small voice speak
'Please don't inter gest me'
'I said what? inter jest? '
'I'm just intend to swallow you, so forget about the rest! '
But then he let out such a cry, I stopped
And said 'Is it true? if you are a happy pill, why are you so blue?
'I'm happy when I'm left alone so please don't inter gest'
If you try to eat me, I'll struggle and protest'
'I won't slide down or glide inside, I'll stick inside you're chest'
I know how to make you sick, and I can stopping you breathing
One sip of me will make you ill, cos killing you is easy'
So stay away and listen to my laughter from afar
For I am an 'ecstatic pill'
When left inside the jar
It's not my job to make you smile
Cos you're chemically erratic
Just eat some fruit you boring smooch
'And stop being so dramatic'
