Lust Vavroovahana Patra
Oh God!
How wondrous is thy Creation!
Ye created a mysterious
Magnificent beautiful Earth,
In all the animates human beings, animals and
Plants created mirth.
Endowed the Earth with
Beautiful blossoms, foliages
and flowers;
Ye fulfilled through Nature,
the human creatures’ desires.
Ye created ascetics, saints, hermits in the lap of Nature;
Oh Alas!
The saints become monsters,
Sleeping on the bed of luxury in palatial
Buildings, hankering after women and wine,
health and wealth being slave to lust,
fulfil the transient desire for a little pleasure.
Oh Lord Siva!
Thy creation cries with cruelty and tension,
Poet’s pen tutters for a beautiful depiction.
Oh God!
The world runs after wealth,
Human beings entangle in corruption;
In each family
Reigns misunderstanding, corruption & tension.
Population growth is rampant,
One hundred and twenty one corers of people live in India
Without peace and tranquillity,
In people’s mind pervades
No delight, gaiety, sanctity, serenity & purity.
