Glass of Wine
The picture of you
Upon the wall is askew
And slanted
But I still love your face.
My life is fading dream
And dissipating fantasy,
But I still wonder
What it would be like
To kiss your lips.
I understand fragility:
I’m a glass of wine
Sitting precariously
At the edge of the table.
