Musings
Last night
The Sunset
Wrapped herself
In skirts of 24Karat Gold
As the crowded
Busy streets
Wore their Neon
And concrete
And carried on the
Progress
Its way
Driving back home
Today
Sitting tight behind
The wheel
Between the leather
Glass and steel
And between several
Lanes of cars
My muse somehow
Missed the Sunset
As he slowly retired
Himself
Beneath his comforter
Of the stars
