Angry Young Man
I remember
froth foaming stinging soul.
I was wild
tormented marble man.
Everywhere consumed despair I made
midnight syringe stand.
I stood sinking with beerglass
draining helpless hand.
With greedy gulping shots swallowing
black Coruba gold
chased charger down sinking lucidless life
sourgrapes sold.
With mega music blasting blown
through vibrating electric ear
drowned daily rhythm rational sober youth
couldn’t contending bear.
In dead dark night no saintly
shining light anywhere.
Shitty sober life leeching then now
soiled insolvent fear.
Crippled insurgent years slip sluggishly
saturated seep away.
Misty maimed memories then now
vomited unswallowed stay.
