Sonnet 40
How you take what you desire
Your words so strong yet somehow old
Oh! How you've grown tired
And so this I was once told
I should have known somehow all along
One day you would cause me pain
I will never understand what went wrong
Your love is not quite the same
Free from the heartache you cause inside
Why can't you simply just see
Love has died so I can't help but cry
But it's just the way it's got to be
Lets just walk away and leave it all behind
Love is not a game one day you'll find
