Fallen Raven
A shining rose began to bloom,
like an amaranth amidst the gloom.
So it grew to heights unattainable,
it's beauty I find sensational.
For years people admired her;
they flayed their love amateur.
Against the years Love fought,
mine heart thine hath bought.
Through ages was shed many a tear,
which faded in the atmosphere,
though a secret love was ever near.
Alas, 'twas what I feared!
I wish not for thy love,
don't shave it, shove
for it would ruin you my dear,
so please your love do blear.
Forsooth, it could never be,
our love swims in the Forbidden Sea.
I suppose 'tis for the best,
though hearts dwell in Pain's nest.
