Far Away From The Morning Light
FAR AWAY FROM THE MORNING LIGHT
Far away from the morning light
The poem at last came-
Suddenly after rest
Effortlessly
Joyfully
As if it itself knew it wanted to be.
The poem came
And with it I came alive
And knew
Within me always
So long as I can breathe and feel and think
There will be Poetry.
