A Vision Of Skulls and Bones
I had a vision
of walking through
a desolate land
skulls were covering
the ground
like wildflowers
In mingled together
bones and rubble
I was startled to see-
a dog half-starved
searching for food
and finding none
the landscape was barren
what once was trees
is now dried stalks
there was no birds
there was no flowers
only pure desolation
oh my soul
my heart cried out
oh my God in heaven
how could you
let this happen
