Twilight of Daggers
In one sunset,
Jeer tinkers in a goblet
Caressing down the dearth of instance
Hilarity compensating the resistance
Farce comedy signed our allegiance:
Our sweet dexterous countenance.
Two souls, two goblets,
Infinity before the sun sets.
One cold sunset,
Crammed with glacial droplets
One would speculate why
A forlorn stranger couldn't even try
To seize a dagger, but wound in sly
Unveiled ignorance would cleave in pry.
Shattered eyes, lacerations in rivulets,
Innocence draped in a guilty cosset.
An indifferent sunset,
Spins the Russian roulette
The other fumbled as tables turned
And comprehended the other's concern
The more you see, the less you learn
Don't topple, don't fret
There will be another sunset.
One late sunset,
Shabby as my cigarette
I gazed it all colliding on my feet
As you acquaint the frost in the hilt
Whilst in the rapier, I'd burn in the slit
Endless twilight, daggers in duet
Close your eyes, aim to forget.
