Softly I Called You
Softly I called you
many times.
Wanted to tell,
my cute rhymes.
You turned your face.
For many days I waited
for you--
until the grass
filled with dew.
You showed disgrace!
Sorrow burdened
stayed back I.
Couldn't tell
my eyes were wet why.
life was then in mess.
When you thought,
you came.
Everyday just to
put on me blame,
try to see my friend's trace.
