Failure
it hard to lose,
everthing i had going for me,
i worked hard to get what i want,
all in one day,
i seem to loose all purpose,
of why i was fighting,
and why it was important,
failure hurts,
but does that mean,
we let it get the best of us,
if i did,
my choice would be to give up,
to give up on live,
to give up on hope,
to give up on dreams,
but, somehow i'm still fighting,
fighting to be something i want to be,
god may labeled me as,
a girl with disability,
doctors may label me as,
a girl who is depressed,
that is not who i label myself as,
i'm not just one thing,
i'm all kinds of things,
i learned it out through the mistakes i've made,
to get where i'm at,
yeah failure hurts,
but it don't have to be all that you are,
we learn from our mistakes,
that what makes us who we are.
