Death And Destruction
I see it on the news.
Death and destruction forever cruise.
When big egos are slightly bruised.
They strike out like youthful fools.
Breaking all the decent rules.
Killing people in such pointless duels.
To show that they're the conquering force.
Sweeping through those they find coarse.
Showing all that they're the best.
Never giving us any rest.
They keep fighting amongst themselves.
Dragging us along for their defense.
We're puppets in their silly games.
They feel no pity and have no shame.
They rule supreme to win the game.
Of who's the biggest man it's lame.
Forever it will be the same.
Destruction rules and death is played.
Unless someone comes and saves the day.
Then we'll finally see the way.
To enlightment, hope and peaceful days.
