Fear of falling
Falling in the black,
Fear of falling,
Fear of falling alone;
Standing on the edge,
Peering down below to
The tiny abyss,
Running as far away as possible
From the reality
In a moment
Between hope and despair;
Plunging to the death,
Being unable to navigate the pain,
Soaring down
The iceberg of sadness,
Being completely at His mercy,
Like losing control
But never losing control;
Wanting to be completely free;
Searching the own face
In the mirror
In its fogged glass,
Remembering untouched promises,
Feeling His presence,
Feeling the emptiness
And His missing;
Falling blindly,
Falling alone;
Trying to find
Some reasons;
Clinging to the hope
That has been stained with
The fear
And praying
For finding love
Instead of loneliness,
Praying
For reaching happiness;
Falling in the black,
Fear of falling,
Fear of falling alone
While He alone is able
To keep everyone
Alive.
