The Sun Sets On Their Backs
People today upset,
Expect the effects of change...
To be for them painless.
And immaculate.
Raised on delusions.
And entertained by a support of their whims.
People for centuries have been forced fed to feed,
On a way of life...
Slipping away and will soon from them leave.
Then one bright morning a dawning appears.
As one man seen bearing an image clear...
While another with rolled up sleeves,
Prepares to reveal what he carries.
With an anxiousness he says are facts.
And the people are torn between the two.
Hoping from their point of view,
Their fantasies will not from them be snatched.
But...
Nothing on the horizon appears like that.
A truth produced,
Is observed by those looking forward.
While those traumatized and rubbing their eyes...
Can not believe what they see.
As the Sun sets on their backs.
