From A Point Of View In Which It Is Beheld
The more one becomes exposed,
The closer the search,
A microscope perched...
Is used for the purpose,
To locate a blemish or a flaw that shows.
To have thick skin,
And a clear direction one moves in...
Is certainly a preferred prerequisite,
For someone unaccustomed...
To be critiqued like a novelty,
With neither feelings or emotions...
That can be detected by intruding whims.
People have curiosities,
To satisfy a probing need.
But anyone who knows what they do,
Invites unsolicited opinions.
And prepared with expectations...
To be picked and plucked,
And sometimes followed.
A perfectness sought by inspection...
Is as difficult to please,
As is a beauty is difficult to define...
Through the eyes of one trying to describe it,
From a point of view in which it is beheld.
No one exposed is not going to escape,
From a taste of some fed hell.
