God's Gardens
God looked around his garden
To find an empty place,
He looked down at the hospital
And saw your tired face
He closed your weary eyelids
And lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
God saw that you were suffering
He knew the pain you was in
He could feel the pain you were in
And he knew you would never
Get well on earth again
He knew the roads was getting rough
So he whispered good night Martin
And Closed them weary eyes
It broke our hearts to let you go
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home
