I'm Not Worth Your Tears
my dreams are finally,
coming true,
more than I,
ever knew.
I never thought,
they'd come rushing down,
in this small,
little town.
But look at me now,
who do you see,
defiantly not the girl,
I used to be.
I've grown us so much,
in such a short time,
the only thing I know,
these dreams are mine.
You can't take them from me,
though I know you'll try,
but all you will see,
is me flying by.
I'm ready for the take off,
I'm ready to go,
promise you won't worry,
it's my time to grow.
I know you are worried,
about all the things,
but please don't cry,
because I'm spreading my wings.
I know how quickly,
things can go wrong,
don't think of that,
think of my song.
There's that one song,
which makes you think of me,
think of the joys,
then you'll see.
If anything happens,
I'm not worth your tears,
just be happy with my life,
and with my years.
