Time Trap
Juxtaposition in an active mind:
unstretched potential and a spirit free
seek space to taste then test eternity,
leaving wasted years far, far behind.
Intense the need for speed, choice voice must find,
before too late, - an opportunity
tuned to new horizons’ patterned key.
Before too late... life its own double bind
sees night light follow as Time’s skeins unwind,
as most is swallowed, soon forgotten, - we,
today ahead, tomorrow sped, can’t flee
Nature’s mortal paradox designed.
Whether open, closed, the intellect
self justifies through merge-urge to project...
