A breath....
I've stumbled around
inside my mind,
pieces of this woman....
I try to find.
Guilty I am,
thinking of man.
I want to go on
with my Independence....
I CAN make a life
with no one in it.
But the mornings
when I reach for touch,
I wake to find......
it hurts so much.
I'm not meant
to comfort myself,
I need breath,
I need warmth,
I need arms,
to keep me from harm.
Guilty I am,
thinking of man.
With so many other things
I need to do.
I shake this thought
move ahead,
then take
my own breath instead
