The Gift Of The Maji (Bble Poems for Children)
Three Kings followed a star,
Studying the heavens from
afar.
They knew the king would be
born,
Sometime in the early morn.
In Jeruselem they did meet,
Asked about a baby so
sweet.
They saw a star ever so high,
Above a stable, in the sky.
This is the saviour, born on
earth,
Honor him with gifts and myrrh.
They had a dream from God, that
day,
Go home now, don't delay.
Joseph also had a dream,
God told him of Herod's scheme.
To kill baby Jesus, was his
plight.
Joseph, and Mary escaped at
night.
In Egypt they had to stay,
Until Herod's life had passed
away.
