Raising The Dead (Bible Poems for Children)
A man had a little girl,
Nine years old, was she.
The little girl had taken
ill,
They lived by the sea.
Father heard of Jesus,
He was very near.
I must go find him,
Right now, bring him
here.
On their way, coming
home,
The little girl passed
away
Father said, she is gone,
It's to late to pray.
But Jesus did not ponder,
To the house he came.
He did not know her age,
Or even know her name.
He took her little hand,
Said, arise come with me,
She arose and walked with
Jesus,
Healthy as could be.
