Catene of Gold
Your bliss, night's vigil, memory's candles
stills sacred to be surmised and served,
your caress of foam, to lift a time mantle,
descended in my world, a dancer's curve.
Petrified was our pain, inscribed on tomb,
raindrops in air, and an iris rain bow..
You wore a catene to remember this world,
traced my lips, and for once, my waxy glow.
Your glance of an Ocean, an exploration,
invited me, soft vapor of sleep numb,
after a finishing, sagging of secret libation,
A moment of love, a granule of sand..
Suspended in air, romantic grace, to honor
a feast of our Sunday, abides in snow,
winds will beckon, my Crimson color,
my answers in silence, will verify and vow.
Walk of a vigil, a loner's whistle, a vitrine,
hope to receive an old letter, a scented whiff,
of perfume so lonely, a margin cold brink,
a belief to disperse, a taste of rye, so stiff.
You kept this for burden, alone, a whole,
a catene of gold, in waxy light, a time's farce
dumb, it was like you sensed Erinyes' call
and not my catened feelings, behind stars.
