Psalm 77
I cry out to you God, night and day
I fall upon my face, I beg I pray
Will you not bend down and hear me say
Where are you my God?
I twist and turn upon my bed
I cry for food, my soul's not fed
I fall amongst the dry bones as one whose dead
Where are you my God?
I try and close my eyes to sleep
Its tears upon my pillow and silence that I reap
I'm thrown overboard and languish in the deep
Where are you my God?
Am I lost forever, do you hear mt plea?
Shall I wander in blindness never more to see?
Will you break the bonds that bind me, will you set me free?
I cry to thee O God
My soul remembers your works of old
How you split the sea, that's what I'm told
A cloud by day and a fire in the night cold
You are a mighty God
The sea and all their depths tremble at your sight
The thunder roars at your voice and lightening fills the night
And when they see you coming your enemies take flight
You are our glorious King!
