The Sky And I
When I gaze up in the sky
I wonder how it is that I
can be so far away from you
and then I wonder why?
Rainbows form and raindrops fall
and changes everything I see.
I guess it's just the same for you.
You see the changes in me.
For you have an effect down here
even though you're not that near.
You soothe me as I look at you
and your tender scene so blue.
But when I gaze and see you gray,
that's the way I am all day.
