Screwballs
Screwballs here, screwballs there,
screwballs seem to be everywhere.
You walk down the street
and what do you meet?
Another screwball at your feet.
What makes so many people odd?
Surely it can't be blamed on God.
So who do we blame? Can it be
blameless that we as a society
have created the screwballs in our sight?
Having to deal with a life of need
starts a human's tiny seed
to burst forth into an emptiness.
And the saturated brain starts its fall
And the end result creates a screwball.
