We shall have another day.
I know not how or where.
The when is the biggest question
for there's not much time to spare.
We age a little more each day
And somber moods come along.
But I keep you young at heart, my love
through my rhyme and song.
And if the music ever dies
I might as well give up this quest.
For soundless and wordless will surely be
like a dagger to my breast.
For I have loved and I have felt
what I thought was lost.
And the melancholy nights I know
will remind me I've been blessed
