The Wise Man's Eyes
A pestle, a pistle, enough goat's milk for your food;
But as one dies, so dies the other in the name of war!
And how can one be warmed by himself?
The wise man's eyes,
I nned a love tonight;
From the finest wheat to the pure gold of love,
But the wise man's eyes are open in his head.
Stars of light,
Male and female slaves to enrich your market;
But, there is no knowledge in the grave.
Of lovers chains,
Flowers in the vineyard of sorrow;
But the silver cord is all that you need.
Length of days!
So will a woman's mind reflect her at this hour;
But being formed in the womb begins a journey.
For the sweetest love that comes with a romance,
Of the wise man's eyes that speaks in parables;
Give food to the hungry if you have the means,
For we all have a mission on this earth.
