The Road Ahead
The road ahead seems uncertain and small
The weather rough, terrain in marshy lands
No sign-boards found to help track direction
It meanders through forest thick and vale
The sky threatens with thunder-storm black clouds
The cracks of lightning can unnerve the strong
The forlorn landscape is no welcome sight
No human habitations seem near-by!
The place looks alien, untrodden a ground;
The vegetations look like ghosts around;
The hope in me dwindles to empty point
My walk is now a trudge in weariness.
Yet, faith in God is driving me forward
Undaunted I thus walk the road ahead
The odds are heavy clearly against me
Nevertheless, I must complete journey!
