Travellers
They came as travellers
and were mistaken as Gods
in olden times.
They came from distant worlds
and some simply lost their way.
Their remnants lay hidden,
locked in vaults away from our day.
Their secrets to be revealed
by what they called a primitive society.
Their voices silenced
for the good of all
some would say,
until new travellers arrive
to find those who disappeared
into our yesterdays.
