The Game Of Love
Nothing can right a wrong we’ve done
What is done can not be reversed
No matter how hard we want to try
Every time we play the game of love
There will always be winners and losers
Sometimes it takes a lifetime to say that you’ve won
and a very short time to say that you’ve lost
The game of love is a gamble
Each time you enter the fray
You throw the dice and let it settle
Before you walk away
As a winner with the prize
Or loser with empty arms again
You never know just how the game will end
