Tragedy of Presumption
One cannot presume what the other is thinking
Nor can one give motives behind a poem
Unless in laser-like mind reading
One, like a Superman, by miracle has become.
Such is the tragedy of presumption
In the absence of facts comes a conclusion
There's frailty of judgment, no other option
But a muddled view of wrong perception.
Still as writers, our truth we declare
Unmindful of those who try to stifle
Our words and the passion that is there
The enjoyment in poetry, who dares to ruffle?
