Maybe
The beautiful stars
That once had shone,
Were not here now
They were just gone.
The full moon that
I once cherished,
Has turned gloomy
With the grace vanished.
There are no birds
To come and sing,
To flap there wings.
And here I am
Unable to see your smile,
Knowing you’re away
A thousand miles.
But
I’m still here
Amn’t I?
And in your distant life
I just can’t pry.
And who knows
Maybe tomorrow,
I might see
No more sorrow.
Maybe the stars
Will be shining,
The gloomy moon
Might be brightening.
The birds might sing
So happily,
And maybe
Just maybe
You will come back to me.
